As a recognized area leader in long-term care, Pinecrest offers skilled medical care, Alzheimer’s care, physical, occupational and speech therapy, and can welcome up to 140 residents.
At Pinecrest, we understand the difficult decision to move to a nursing home. In addition to the medical needs and paperwork, a person fears the loss of their independence, their home, the ability to do the things they once loved and their identity.
Through the Eden Alternative, we attempt to overcome the fears and apprehension of moving into a nursing home by giving back independence and identity, making Pinecrest as home-like as possible, and doing whatever possible to keep hobbies and traditions alive.

Our new renovation is complete. Larger, more enhanced dining areas complete with home-style kitchens, along with new living areas, featuring fireplaces give us a more home environment. The rehabilitation department has brighter facilities complete with a full, handicapped accessible bathroom for those receiving occupational therapy to practice the use of assistive devices, such as a shower chair. The new therapy department is adjacent to “Hope Lane” our rehabilitation wing. All “Hope Lane” rooms are private.
